sun in quarantine
The sky cracked
With a laugh
Shining vit D into my room
Warm like hugs I won’t feel for a while.
Weeks pressed into cigarette smoke and the first chapter of every book left unfinished.
Pages curled like my back hunched over a sheet of white
Soon to be blue or yellow or
Green like garden envy.
Smiles pickled with puzzlement.
Invisible worries bounce
Over
And
Over
And
Over.
Evolving over lumps of dumb
Forgotten in goblets of wine.
I am fine.
